Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and my hope is that this page helps you get a clear sense of who I am, how I work, and what you can expect in our sessions together.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and I work with individuals (6+), couples, and families. My approach is grounded in humanistic, person-centered, and attachment-based principles, and I integrate elements of Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology, Mindful Self-Compassion, and trauma-informed practice.
My work is shaped by a deep belief that every person is worthy of love, dignity, and emotional safety. I see therapy as a collaborative, respectful, and culturally sensitive process where your lived experience guides the work.

I believe that each person has an innate capacity for growth, healing, and self-actualization. My role is to create a safe, grounded, and compassionate space where you can explore your emotions, experiences, and patterns without judgment.
Whether we are working individually, as a couple, or as a family, I help you understand the emotional patterns that shape your relationships.
This includes:
· Identifying protective strategies and coping mechanisms
· Exploring unmet needs and emotional injuries
· Understanding how early experiences shape present-day reactions
· Building new patterns of connection, communication, and trust
I support clients in reconnecting with their bodies, recognizing emotional cues, and understanding how the nervous system responds to stress, conflict, or overwhelm. This helps you build emotional regulation, self-trust, and resilience.
My training in Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology allows me to help clients understand the deeper structure of their thoughts, beliefs, and emotional responses. Mindful Self-Compassion supports clients in developing gentleness, acceptance, and emotional safety within themselves.

You are the expert on your life. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, cultural humility, and deep respect for your lived experience.
Emotionally Focused Therapy emphasizes present-moment emotions and bodily felt sensations. Together, we explore what is happening inside you right now - not to stay in the past, but to understand how past experiences shape your present.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, relationship stress, trauma, identity questions, or family conflict, I hold space for all parts of your experience with compassion and clarity.

In couples work, I prioritize:
· Emotional safety for both partners
· Understanding the negative cycle that keeps you stuck
· Helping each partner express deeper fears, needs, and longings
· Supporting you in building a new pattern of connection
I work with couples experiencing:
· Disconnection or recurring conflict
· Infidelity or breaches of trust
· Stress from extended family or cultural expectations
· Challenges in blended families or remarriage
· Pre-marital concerns and communication difficulties
My goal is to help you learn a new emotional dance - one where you feel seen, supported, and able to reach for each other with confidence.
I support families navigating:
· Parent-child conflict
· Emotional shutdown or overwhelm
· Cultural and generational differences
· Transitions such as moves, school changes, or loss
I help families build emotional safety, strengthen communication, and understand each other’s inner worlds.

My journey in psychology began at McGill University in the late nineties, where I first studied psychology while completing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Over the years, I expanded my training into:
· Child Psychology
· Workplace Psychology and training facilitation
· Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology
· Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
· Trauma-informed practice
I am the author of Coach Inspire Empower: Change your focus; change your life (2011), and I continue to integrate learning from diverse cultural, academic, and professional experiences.
I work with clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. My multicultural approach is grounded in the belief that culture is dynamic, evolving, and deeply personal.
I approach each client’s cultural experience with:
· Curiosity
· Respect
· Humility
· A commitment to understanding your worldview
My extensive travel and cross-cultural relationships have shaped my ability to hold space for clients navigating identity, belonging, and cultural expectations.

I am a mother of three, and my personal experiences have shaped my understanding of family transitions, parenting challenges, and the emotional needs of children and teens.
I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, including landscaping our yard, tending to our fruit trees, and enjoying simple moments like barbecuing at home. I also love traveling and cooking together, and I especially value learning about other cultures through travel and food. To me, tasting a dish from a place can feel like a small journey there. I enjoy singing as well, and I value staying active by exercising in my personal gym at the clinic. These experiences continue to deepen my appreciation for connection, presence, and everyday joy.
